One of the best parts of building a team in multi level marketing is, in my opinion, the ability to help others achieve goals they otherwise thought were impossible.
In addition, watching them grow as people and business professionals can be quite rewarding as well. I truly believe that to succeed in network marketing, you don’t need to be good at sales; you don’t need to have a huge network of people; you don’t need to be blessed with a super vivacious personality that every one is attracted to.
All you need to do is to find the right company with the right product or service that is in demand right now, and well into the future, and then have a dream big enough to allow you to take consistent and persistent action week after week for the next three to five years.
Having a great trainer and company resources to assist you is key. That’s where I come in. In my printable greeting cards online business, I help others get started with their own home based businesses. I like to see them get off to a good start. We work very closely together the first 90 days, but only if they continue to ask ME for my help.
I can have the greatest leadership techniques in the world, but no matter how much I want something for my team, they have to want it more. I can’t drag them across the finish line. So if they don’t do the tasks I ask them to or take advantage of all the company training that we have available to them; if they don’t reach out from time to time to get advice or ask for my help; if they’re not setting firm “home business hours” and working the business the way they should be, then I can be fairly certain they will not be successful at their business.
I can give them all the great training in the world, but it’s up to them to implement it and show the kind of initiative that makes me want to stay involved in their business.
